Part of the municipal district of Sant Lluis, on the south east corner of Menorca, this secluded resort is approximately 10km from the airport. Transfer time is around 20 minutes.
This quiet resort has a large white sandy beach but owing to its proximity to the island Capital, can become quite crowded at weekends.
Caution is advised when swimming due to offshore currents. There is a system of warning flags in operation, from the Red Cross building, advising when it is safe to bathe.
There are 2 very well stocked supermarkets and a couple of bars and restaurants.
Approximately 8 buses a day run from the resort to Mahon, but for short local journeys during the day/early evening a mini train runs through Punta Prima and into nearby Binibeca.
